Colourburst

Shirt - ZARA | Skirt - Mango | Shoes - ZARA | Watch - GUESS | Rings - Forever New | Sunglasses - Dior | Clutch - Inc 5

The weather has been very hot since last few weeks and as you have seen in my previous outfit posts I have been mostly wearing light and comfortable summer appropriate clothing.I got this pleated skirt last year and had totally forgotten about this skirt until a Trendy Tuesday post about Pleats that I did on the blog's Facebook page reminded me of it.
Since pleats are back in trend what better time then now.Although this pleated skirt reminds of summer it works in almost any setting.Pleated skirts look chic in any length and colour. This type of skirt will make you look even more feminine. Pleated skirts, especially those made from soft fabrics are among the most stylish skirts for summer.
I find the colour of the skirt very lively, it has just the right amount of brightness.I have paired this beautiful skirt with a scarf print button up.
Such solid coloured pleated skirts can be easily paired with white/black tops or button ups and a pair of high heels to complete the look.To compensate for the brightness of the skirt I have added nude heels. The glaring sun gives you an excuse to invest in good protective sunglasses and so have I in these beautiful Diorline sunglasses.

Spring Bloom

Top - Local Boutique | Pants - Zara | Bag - Mango | Heels - Zara | Earrings, Cuff - Aquamarine | Ring - Forever 21,Forever New | Aviators - RayBan

As summer approaches I am planning to do more summery and comfortable looks.
This one here at one glance reminds you of summer and floral bloom. Spring - Summers are always associated with florals, stripes along with casual and comfy looks.

This blouse here has a very comfy feel to it.Its very much sheer which adds a feel of spring to the outfit. These are the days when you bring out those beautiful light summery outfits from your wardrobe channeling the beautiful spring vibes and sport them in full bloom. With rise in temperature I stick to light colours. Although I cannot totally stay away from black but I do indulge in lots of light colours and also light fabrics.

I’m quite happy to skip my basic black skinnies and swap them for crisp whites here. These white pants for me have successfully transitioned from winter whites to comfy spring whites.I have worn them here as winter whites and now as summer whites.

And to finish off the look some elegant and beautiful contemporary jewellery.

Lost Blues

Top, Skirt, Sandals, Necklace - Zara | Clutch - Mango | Rings - Aldo | Watch - Michael Kors | Sunglasses - Chanel | Lipstick - MAC Girl About Town

I have always wanted to invest in a good denim skirt.Last I remember I wore a denim skirt was during junior college after that I guess I forgot about it and after I started working work formals are mostly what you'll spot me in.
Recently I came across this denim skirt and thought of rekindling old memories.I have till now tried only a little shorter version of a denim skirt but this time I decided to go for the midi version.
Denim skirts are very playful and have that casual vibe to it which ever lengths and styles you may try.

I have grown a liking for midi pencil skirts. This is a second appearance of a midi pencil skirt on the blog. There is not much going on in the look I have thrown in a casual tshirt.I have kept it very simple and effortless because denim really does not require lot of effort and thats whats denim symbolizes casual and simple.

If you have read my previous posts I am not much into heels but as I had promised in my earlier post New Beginnings I will surely try new things so here I am with these beautiful high heels.

Military Mode

Jacket - LOFT | Jeans -Zara | White Top - Vero Moda | Pumps - Zara | Bag - Mango | Midi rings - Aldo | Sunglasses - Zara  | Watch - GUESS

A utility jacket is undeniably one of those basic wardrobe pieces and a favourite of the style soldiers and is also a great staple piece for fall. With the slight dip in temperatures now you can get your jackets and blazers out.
If camouflage prints are not your way then you can sport the military trend with a olive/army green jacket.
With this army green jacket you can go classic or be fashion forward. Whether in trend or not this particular style never goes out of fashion.

I added this light weight military jacket to my closet last fall.As you can see there is nothing feminine about the jacket like some jackets which are embellished ...etc.Hence to soften up the look and make it more feminine I paired it with skinny denims.I personally think such utility jackets were made to give you an immensely casual and comfortable look.Nothing much needs to be done the jacket does everything for the outfit.

Its a perfect layering piece for fall.If you are looking for sporting cammo/military trend you can even try cammo printed shirts.I have off lately spotted many cammo printed shirts in sheer, embellished, with spikes.

Do you have a military or army green jacket in your wardrobe if not you are missing a very versatile piece.

Chambray Diaries

            Shirt - Topshop | Pants - Vero Moda | Bag - Mango | Frames,Ring - Forever 21 |
Lipstick - NYX Soft Matte Cream in Monte Carlo | Watch - GUESS

Chambray.where should I start with chambray.Chambray shirts are so low maintenance and versatile , can be worn as a layering piece to add texture and dimension to your outfit or worn by themselves.Paired with neutral pants ,knotted over a dress, tucked into a pleated or flowy skirt or just with other denims it just gels in effortlessly.

Many people confuse chambray with denim but they are two different things and fundamentally very much different.Chambray is very much lighter then denim whereas as denim is coarse material.

Here I have created a very casual look with a chambray shirt, black pants and comfy pumps and also my favourite hairstyle these days, the Donut Bun.
