Spring Bloom

Top - Local Boutique | Pants - Zara | Bag - Mango | Heels - Zara | Earrings, Cuff - Aquamarine | Ring - Forever 21,Forever New | Aviators - RayBan

As summer approaches I am planning to do more summery and comfortable looks.
This one here at one glance reminds you of summer and floral bloom. Spring - Summers are always associated with florals, stripes along with casual and comfy looks.

This blouse here has a very comfy feel to it.Its very much sheer which adds a feel of spring to the outfit. These are the days when you bring out those beautiful light summery outfits from your wardrobe channeling the beautiful spring vibes and sport them in full bloom. With rise in temperature I stick to light colours. Although I cannot totally stay away from black but I do indulge in lots of light colours and also light fabrics.

I’m quite happy to skip my basic black skinnies and swap them for crisp whites here. These white pants for me have successfully transitioned from winter whites to comfy spring whites.I have worn them here as winter whites and now as summer whites.

And to finish off the look some elegant and beautiful contemporary jewellery.

Lost Blues

Top, Skirt, Sandals, Necklace - Zara | Clutch - Mango | Rings - Aldo | Watch - Michael Kors | Sunglasses - Chanel | Lipstick - MAC Girl About Town

I have always wanted to invest in a good denim skirt.Last I remember I wore a denim skirt was during junior college after that I guess I forgot about it and after I started working work formals are mostly what you'll spot me in.
Recently I came across this denim skirt and thought of rekindling old memories.I have till now tried only a little shorter version of a denim skirt but this time I decided to go for the midi version.
Denim skirts are very playful and have that casual vibe to it which ever lengths and styles you may try.

I have grown a liking for midi pencil skirts. This is a second appearance of a midi pencil skirt on the blog. There is not much going on in the look I have thrown in a casual tshirt.I have kept it very simple and effortless because denim really does not require lot of effort and thats whats denim symbolizes casual and simple.

If you have read my previous posts I am not much into heels but as I had promised in my earlier post New Beginnings I will surely try new things so here I am with these beautiful high heels.

Summer Aroma

Changing season gives you a reason to change your perfumes.Fragrances you loved in winter can be very overpowering in summers. For summers I like fresh, zesty fragrances. With changing wardrobe you can also change perfumes to suit the season. Here are two beautiful perfumes which I find are summer appropriate and have been using them lately.

Elie Saab Le Parfum EDT

Whats in it-
Top notes: Mandarin Blossom
Middle notes: Gardenia, Orange Blossom, Jasmine
Base notes: Vetiver, Rose Honey

When sprayed you get a combination of Orange Blossom and Rose and a hint of Honey. You get a fragrance that is both sharp and sweet at the same time.Slowly, the scent becomes very floral with the sweet scent in the background. Later the Gardenia and Mandarin Blossom come into play.
The fragrance is not strong and very easy on the nose.I could wear this for both day and night, but day wear would be best.

Mark Jacobs Daisy EDT

Whats in it-
Top Notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves
Mid Notes: Violet Petals, Jasmine Bouquet
Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla Infusion

The fragrance is very fresh, sweet and refreshing floral scent to wear.It instantly reminds you of a breezy spring day and floral bloom.
The Violet Petals and Jasmine Petals offer very sweet gentle and feminine experience.
The fragrance lasts you most of the day and so does the sweetness and charm. The bottle has decorative daisy flowers which I find very girly and feminine.

Neutrality

Blazer - ASOS | Shirt - Topshop | Pants - Vero Moda | Shoes - Zara | Bag - Local Boutique |         Ring - Colaba | Watch - Michael Kors | Sunglasses - Tom Ford | On my lips - MAC Ruby Woo

Neutrals are those colors which form the building blocks of your wardrobe. They are very much trend-proof and flexible.
Basic neutral colours are black, grey, white, navy blue, brown, beige including hues and different shades of these colours.

Neutrals does not mean dull colors.Yes ladies lack of colour does not mean lack of style. As I said previously neutrals are the building blocks and most of the time we use neutrals to build our outfits. But constructing an outfit with neutrals only thats exactly what I have tried to create here, a very simple outfit with neutrals alone.

Black is such a classic colour and looks good on everyone. Those black skinnies, jeggings everyone will agree are you most versatile piece.

White another very versatile colour. Pair it with bright, neon, neutral tops or bottoms and it will look good with everything.

Beige now this colour is my personal favourite.I have already styled this colour in two different outfits here and here with totally different colour palette.

Adding a chunky necklace or bright coloured shoes is an interesting way to add some colour to a neutral outfit.

This here is my take on neutral colour blocking.
